ingenuity

i’ve gotten over the embarrassment taking pictures of food in restaurants.  maybe it’s gotten so common among diners that i don’t stick out, or maybe it’s just that no one cares.  the only obstacle now is that, because i more often go out to dinner than lunch, the light usually sucks.  candles are of little help and the flash only makes things white and unappetizing.  and i’m in no position to upgrade from my three-year-old camera. thus, forced to turn to more creative solutions, i recently discovered this one:
